Social Media Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2025
This Social Media Policy outlines how Thin Walls uses external platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and Reddit as part of its mission to share meaningful content, and foster digital community.
1. Purpose of Our Social Media Presence
Our social media channels are used to:
Provide updates and resources related to our platform
Share curated content that promotes connection, insight, and wellbeing
Engage with our community in a respectful, inclusive way
These channels are extensions of our platform, and are not used to sell products or services.
2. Curated & Third-Party Content
We often share or organize publicly available content, including videos, quotes, and interviews created by others. This content:
Remains the property of its original creators
Is used in a non-commercial, non-monetized manner
Is curated in accordance with fair use principles for education, commentary, and accessibility
Is never altered, rebranded, or monetized by us
If you're a creator and would prefer your content not be included in our playlists or social posts, please contact us and we will respectfully remove it.
3. Advertisements & Sponsorships
We do not monetize our social media content and do not endorse any ads that may appear on platforms like YouTube, as these are managed by the platforms themselves.
In the future, if our website or app includes sponsored content or partnerships, these will be clearly labeled. Social media platforms will remain non-commercial unless explicitly stated otherwise.
4. Sensitive Content Notice
Some shared content may address topics such as mental health, addiction, or trauma. We aim to approach these topics with care and compassion. Viewer discretion is advised, and we encourage all users to engage in a way that feels safe for them.
5. Community Engagement
We welcome respectful dialogue and community interaction on all social channels. However, we reserve the right to moderate comments and remove any that are:
Harmful or triggering
Discriminatory or hateful
Spam or self-promotion unrelated to our mission
6. Terms and Responsibility
By engaging with our content on social media, you also agree to the terms and privacy policies of those platforms (e.g. YouTube’s Terms of Service, Meta’s Community Guidelines, etc.).
We do not assume responsibility for external content, comments, or platform algorithms beyond our control.
